so I wanted to post a reply but then I couldn't really think of something that irks/bugs me. you know, like an ULTIMATE pet peeve!

is that even NORMAL???

don't get me wrong, I also get miffed... but that's about it. I don't really reached the point/level of becoming fuming mad.

- Am I such a nice person that I try not to think ILL of other people? I THINK NOT!
- Or am I just the type of person who lets everything roll over her shoulder? basically shrugs away slightest hint of irritation?

Wow! I can't believe how long it's been already...
I'm not sure if I can string a decent sentence, hehehe

Well, I've been wanting to write for the longest time...
but work... stuff... laziness (mostly laziness) stopped me :p
now since I've been doing tweets, I guess am slowly getting my groove back
hopefully, I can post regularly
AND redesign my blog -> it's so... ughhh!

Same day last year, I was back in manila vacationing...
so I didn't really notice it :)
and this year, 2008, my best bud charles somewhat reminded me
and I was ecstatic beyong belief!

ANYWAY, nooooo... didn't celebrate with my peeps today...
I was thinking it was kinda late in the afternoon, so last minute invite...
and I promised mari we'll go to the gym...
and I wanted to play mahjong at bishan...
and wanted to research some good eats first...
yeah yeah, way too many excuses!

methinks I better get some snooze now...

I just learned that unkymoods.com no longer exists! tsk tsk... too bad! the artist probably had a hard time maintaining it -- the funds, site maintenance, new moods. *sigh*

It's also the reason why my blog kept on spewing a javascript error! ha! gotcha! :)

It's a good thing I managed to save some unkymoods classic... mr. broke guy and mr. freezing cold! hihihi...

Freakin' Weather

It's so freaking hot nowadays (excuse my french, boys and girls!)... Man! I really can't take it anymore. I'm now camping out of my PUGON-like room! Good thing, my achi is letting me sleep in her a/c room :)

But it's just so inconvenient! I mean my all my clothes are in there... my ps2 (I've stopped playing since April!)... my pc... my stuff!!! That little hellhole feels like it's 40 deg celsius, with all the windows and blinds up!

What's even worse is that, right now, I'm nursing a month-old cold!!! Aaarggh! I don't know if I got it from the office, or basically just being exposed alternately to hot (home, going out) and cold (office) weather.

However, rants aside, what's mostly freakin me out, is what my dichi told me. She said she heard that the North Pole ice caps started melting already... way ahead of schedule! Flashes of the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" comes to mind. I know that global warming has been a hotly contested topic during debates. And the ozone layer being depleted doesn't help either. It's really a scary thought...

hey! I just found out that "The Wedding Date" movie is based on a book "Asking for Trouble" by Elizabeth Young. Figures... it's such a chick lit!!!

still pining over my 300 bucks :(

MOVIE REVIEW: The Wedding Date

I was really looking forward to watching this movie... from the posters, to the trailers -- it was with much anticipation that I watched this last night! Alas! It fell short of my expectations :(

It has a very simple plot -- Kat (Debra Messing from Will and Grace fame) is suppose to fly to London to attend her half-sister's wedding. But it turns out, her ex-fiance is the groom's best man! Being the spurned lover that she is *snicker* *snicker*... she hires a hunky male escort (Dermot Mulroney) to pose as her boyfriend/wedding date and pays him $6000!!! Throughout the course of the film, they fall in love with each other, but there's a snag right before the ending :) no spoilers to be revealed here, though... hehehe >:)

Anyway, I'm not much of a storyteller, so I'll just get on with my review. The most noticeable thing is the lack of chemistry between the two (2) leads! I think Will and Grace has more spark than these two! Second, is that I can't seem to reconcile Kat as a british girl! She's too American in her ways. Well, maybe I can let that one slide, since she has been away from her home for quite some time (maybe 2 years, can't really remember). Third, is the slow moving storyline. At one point, I was really sleepy (we watched the 10pm showing at Megamall)... but I can still follow the story :) Mostly about making Kat's ex-fiance green with envy :)

I'm sorry for filling this space with rants. It's just that I've been bugging my achi, my friends, my officemates to accompany me to watch this movie! hehe... did u notice that I fell short to asking complete stranger to join me?! I guess this should really teach me NOT to get my hopes up for a movie. ZERO expectations can be a good thing! It would really be nice to get something out of nothing! :) Actually, the only good thing that I got out of it is catching the La Visa Loca's trailer! It's a complete riot! Hope my next movie review would be of that movie! =)

waah! it's confirmed! am really ADDICTED to Yahoo 360 :) i've been continuously updating it... adding a picture here and there, updating my list, editing my blast... i have to admit it's a sickness :) i even updated it using our dial-up account from home. :P

another dating site posing as an community/friend site has come to my attention. it's still in beta version, but I think it will be a hit... considering Yahoo! is making it. yeah, it's aptly titled yahoo360. I think this site will give friendster a run for its money... coz hey! where can u find a site where you can access your personal email, group mail, photos section, YM, etc. Yahoo! is still playing around with the homepage... it hasn't really tied up everything. I actually got lost in the labyrinth of links :-/

anyway, i'm just bummed coz i have to maintain yet another site! right now, it's okay since am not really doing anything... but when i think about it, I have signed up for friendster, ringo, hi5 and all those community-based sites. it's a good thing that i only maintain friendster! hihihi... although am thinking of inviting all my friends here in 360... you can't compare yahoo's server, period. it's infinitely better! :)

so, i was creating my profile, needed some pics... and before I knew it... it was a walk down memory lane :) my friends and I are really photo-addicts! We're the worst bunch! hihihi... I even remember when we went to Bohol, we had 3 instamatic cameras, 3 digital cameras, and a couple of camera phones! and we're just SIX (6) in the group! hihihi... am not sure whether the cameras outnumbered the people vacationing...

anyway, i really had a blast looking at old photos... kinda felt bad since I accidentally erased all my photos in my home pc (another post, i promise). arghh! everytime I think about it, it gives me a headache! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!
